UK retailer GAME this morning tweeted confirmation of GTAV's Spring 2013 release date (which we posted about a few days ago) via one of its local Twitter feeds for a store in Brighton. The tweet encouraged users to pre-order GTA V and contained a photo of 3 different box art designs, two of which feature brand new artworks. The tweet has since been deleted, but of course people had already saved it. You can check out the photo of the artworks below (click for the full size image).

So that all but confirms the existence of ATV's in V and also that of female cops. That one is sure to cause a stir among the anti-gamers. (Killing prostitutes circa GTA3, anyone?)

The Rockstar games website for GTA V now also states that the release of the game will be in Sping 2013. :) Buzzed.

"For miles and beyond - from the tops of the mountains to the depths of the ocean". God, that sends chills down my spine. Thank you Rockstar.

They won't stop releasing their biggest blockbuster to PC. Just a matter of waiting, plus, they've definitely learned from the GTA IV port (See Max Payne 3).

Awesome, by the time Spring comes around I should actually have time to play games again.

Tuna's a negative little snotbag that complains when we get no information then turns a release date confirmation into another opportunity to slate rockstar even though he's a member of a GTA fansite so must clearly be so bereft of activities that he feels the need to critisize everyone else's?, that's new.

Wait, wait no it's not.

Seriously dude. It's time to drop the keyboard warrior bullshit. People have toiled, stolen, lied and shed blood to ensure that we can send data unfathomable distances at speeds we never thought possible. All you're doing is shitting down that pipeline and perpetuating the infantile plague of anonymous ass-hattery that nobody in the real world will ever, ever, ever care about, or respect. It's kinda sad this is how you find self validation. If you dislike something, stop buying it and be quiet.

Have a nice day.

On Topic (yay):

Good to know that this has stemmed from multiple sources now, and with the release of what seems like quite a bit of media we can be pretty sure that R* won't pull a delay on us. Do R* have any previous spring release dates to base off of so we can maybe narrow down the timeline a bit?
